October 16, 2012, Victoria, BC – Just over one month into the VIJHL season the Saanich Jr B Braves are preparing for their biggest test to date as they take on the Victoria Jr B Cougars this Friday night, Oct. 19, at Pearkes Arena.  The Cougars currently sit atop the VIJHL and Provincial standings with a 12-0-0-1 record, while with a 9-2-0-0 record, the Braves sit in the VIJHL's second spot and are ranked 4th in BC. Fans can expect an exciting contest between these two rival teams when the puck drops at 6:30 p.m.  Friday night's tickets are sponsored by PISE, with each ticket stub good for a free visit to their fitness centre. The night will also include a Frisbee toss with a prize for best throw donated by Remix watches.  Game day tickets are available at the door for every Braves Home Game throughout the season. Fans can get in on the 45th season action by purchasing season tickets, available for $150 for adults, $120 for seniors and $90 for children.
